Salma Hayek to play 20

Salma Hayek to play 20 2007-01-01
Salma Hayek is set to pile on the pounds for her new movie role - as a 20-stone, sex-mad psychopath.
The screen beauty has agreed to make herself fat and ugly for her depiction of real-life serial killer Martha Beck in Hollywood thriller 'Lonely Hearts'.
Beck and her accomplice Raymond Martinez Fernandez, branded the 'Lonely Hearts Killers', viciously murdered 17 women in the '40s.
The pair attracted their prey - lovelorn war widows - by placing personal ads in local newspapers in which Ray would describe himself as a sexy Latin lover.
A Hollywood insider revealed: "Beck was a big woman with a big sexual appetite. "Salma won't put on all the weight - she will also have padding.
But she isn't worried about looking bad. It didn't do Charlize Theron any harm. She won an Oscar for her ugly role in 'Monster'.
The two murderers were eventually caught by two detectives - played by 'Pulp Fiction' actor John Travolta and 'Sopranos' star James Gandolfini - and were finally executed in 1951.
However, fans of Salma will be praying she doesn't have any nude scenes as sex-crazy Beck - after she recently claimed she wants to "kill herself" every time she sees her breasts on screen.
The Hollywood beauty had to strip off for her 1996 movie 'Desperado', in which she played Antonio Banderas' love interest, and says she found it hard to perform the scene because of her strict Catholic upbringing.
She said: "Everyone tells me that the love scene is beautiful but I hated it. Every time I see it, I want to kill myself."
