Reese Witherspoon turns down album 2007-01-01

Sexy 'Walk The Line' star Reese Witherspoon has ruled out making a country and western album.

The star's been deluged with offers are playing June Carter in the Oscar nominated Johnny Cash biopic.

She revealed: "After the movie came out I started getting calls from country music record labels going, 'Do you want to make a record?'

"The answer was 'No, I don't'. I have no desire to do that again, partly just because the performance element was so challenging for me.

She added: "I could do it in a tiny recording studio but then when we had to go out and there were thousands of extras who'd just wait for you to do something and

entertain them - it was just awful, awful. Terrifying!"
