George shocked by bikini look 2006-11-29

Aussie actress Melissa George was left speechless when she was presented with her bikini costumes on the set of horror film TURISTAS because they were so revealing.


The former soap star admits even locals on the Brazilian set, who were used to women wearing skimpy bathing costumes, thought the outfit was daring.


She says, "My bikinis were crocheted and they fit into my hand. Even the Brazilian girls said to me, 'My God, that's small for a Brazilian bikini.'


"I had a heart attack because I thought I was wearing a Brazilian bikini but I was wearing one that was half the size of a Brazilian bikini so that wasn't too pleasant."


Once she got over her flesh-baring fears, George then realised she had to watch her diet while working on the film: "If you put on a little pound eating all the food you were in trouble."
