Jade Goody's kebab perfume 2006-06-17

Jade Goody insists her new perfume will not smell of kebabs.

The former 'Big Brother' star - who famously referred to her private parts as a "kebab" during a drunken strip on the reality TV show - says her new perfume boasts a far more fragrant scent.

She revealed to Britain's Closer magazine: "It's a grown-up, classic scent. Well, it wasn't going to smell like my BO or kebabs!"

However, when Jade visited a French factory to see her fragrance being made she admits the smell was awful.

She said: "It was like boiled cabbage! The stink got right up your nose. I was gagging."

Jade also says she avoided putting a picture of herself on the perfume's packaging - in case it affected sales.


She admitted: "I don't want to put my face on the box. That would put everyone off!"
The name of Jade's new perfume - which goes on sale next month - is still under wraps.
